Product overview
The R&S®ZNL is versatile and portable: a vector network analyzer, a spectrum analyzer and a power meter in one instrument, for excellent measurements in the field and in the lab. The base models cover 5 kHz to 20 GHz and can be extended with a fully integrated spectrum analyzer to 26.5 GHz and with RF power meter support. Its option concept keeps the investment down, letting a development lab, a service centre, a university or a production floor replace several instruments with one compact box — and gain measurement speed and RF performance in the process.
Key features
- Wide frequency range from 5 kHz up to 20 GHz, covering a broad spread of applications
- High dynamic range and low trace noise, for accurate S-parameter measurements
- Two-port vector network analyzer for bidirectional measurements
- Optional fully integrated spectrum analyzer on a hardware board, for up to 26.5 GHz
- Three in one: vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer and power meter in a single compact housing
- A calibration wizard that walks you through S-parameter setup and the calibration standards
- Highly extensible: options for time domain analysis, distance-to-fault, analog demodulation (AM/FM/PM), an independent CW source, noise figure measurements and YIG preselector bypass
- Supports up to four R&S®NRP power sensors at once for accurate power measurements
- Optional lithium-ion battery pack, which makes it a fully portable field instrument
- Optional 12 V / 24 V DC supply for vehicle and field power
- Compact housing (40.8 cm wide × 18.6 cm high × under 24 cm deep), weighing only 6 to 8 kg
