Product overview
The R&S®FSV3000 signal and spectrum analyzer is built for analyzing wireless communications signals in development, system test, verification and production, with a fast and simple setup that gets you to a result quickly. Measurements run at the push of a button, event-based actions capture what happens on the DUT, and the SCPI recorder shortens test program development. Its 200 MHz analysis bandwidth captures two adjacent 5G NR carriers at once and analyzes a 100 MHz wide 5G NR carrier at 28 GHz with an EVM better than 1%. Phase noise of < –114 dBc/Hz (1 GHz, 10 kHz offset) and a displayed average noise level below –162 dBm/Hz keep the measurement honest. A quad-core processor and a multitouch display combine fast digital demodulation with direct operation, and an optional 10 Gbit/s LAN interface suits cloud-based and high-throughput test systems. The FSV3000 won a Design & Elektronik Award for innovation, and works equally well on a development bench and a production line.
Key features
- 200 MHz analysis bandwidth, capturing two adjacent 5G NR carriers at once
- Outstanding phase noise: SSB phase noise (1 GHz, 10 kHz offset) < –114 dBc/Hz
- Very low displayed average noise level (DANL) < –162 dBm/Hz at 1 GHz
- 5G NR signal analysis with EVM < 1% (28 GHz, 100 MHz carrier)
- Measurements at the push of a button, with event-based actions that catch rare DUT events
- SCPI recorder speeds up test program development and lowers the barrier to automation
- Multitouch display for direct, fluid operation
- Quad-core CPU (option B114) accelerates digital signal demodulation
- FFT-based ACLR measurements deliver a significant speed improvement
- Optional 10 Gbit/s LAN interface (B6) for integration into cloud-based test systems
