Product overview
The R&S®CMX500 is a forward-looking 5G NR one-box signaling tester that brings LTE, the 5G FR1 frequency range up to 8 GHz and the FR2 millimeterwave range up to 50 GHz together in one instrument, and adds IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) WLAN testing. The web-based R&S®CMsquares user interface supports both hands-on interactive operation and fully automated test flows for RF parametric, functional, application layer and protocol tests. The CMX500 serves every stage from R&D and preconformance verification through to production, supports 5G standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) mode, and offers a field-to-lab capability that imports field drive test recordings into the lab for replay and analysis.
