Product overview
The R&S®NRPxE are the entry-level diode USB power sensors from Rohde & Schwarz. They use the proven Rohde & Schwarz multipath diode technology in a simpler, more affordable package than the NRPxxS sensors, and deliver accurate, stable average power measurements from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. R&S names the family as the successor to the older R&S®NRP-Z2x1 two-path diode sensors. A USB connection is all they need: plug one into an R&S®NRX power meter, another R&S instrument, a PC or a mobile device, with no base unit.
Key features
- Entry-level price with a wide 80 dB dynamic range, −60 dBm to +20 dBm
- Simpler and less costly than the three-path NRPxxS sensors, while keeping proven Rohde & Schwarz diode technology
- Continuous average, trace and time gate power measurement modes
- Measurement rate up to 1,000 readings/s, with 100 kHz video bandwidth
- USB TMC digital interface — works on its own, with no base unit
- Use with an R&S®NRX power meter, or straight from a PC or mobile device
- Two models, for 8 GHz and 18 GHz coverage
- The named successor to the older R&S®NRP-Z2x1 family
