Product overview
The R&S®SMCV100B is a compact single-path vector signal generator optimized for TV and radio broadcast test transmitter applications, and it replaces earlier instruments such as the R&S®BTC, R&S®SFE100 and R&S®SFC. With the matching broadcast standard software options installed, the R&S®SMCV100B generates test signals to the various digital TV and digital radio standards, which makes it a natural signal source for broadcast equipment development, production and quality assurance. Frequency coverage starts from the B103 base path (4 kHz – 3 GHz) and the upper limit can be raised with option B106 (to 6 GHz) or B107 (to 7.125 GHz).
