Product overview
The R&S®CMP200 radio communication tester is an integrated intermediate frequency (IF) tester that combines vector signal analyzer (VSA) and ARB based generator functions for 5G mmWave FR2 RF parametric testing. It uses a split concept: the CMP200 handles the IF (6 GHz to 20 GHz) while up to three R&S®CMPHEAD30 remote radio heads up- and downconvert the signal to the real 5G FR2 mmWave frequencies such as 28 GHz and 39 GHz. A fully automated path correction concept and a unique built-in calibration routine keep the system calibrated during normal measurement, with no interruption. Parallel testing of multiple DUTs and ultrafast measurement speed make it usable across the whole lifecycle, from chipset development through module validation to production test.
