Product overview
R&S®ZNxSIM is simulation software that runs on a PC and reproduces all the firmware functions of the R&S®ZNA, R&S®ZNB, R&S®ZNBT and R&S®ZND vector network analyzers without any VNA hardware at all. Download the firmware of the model you want to simulate, plug the R&S®ZNPC licence dongle into a USB port and choose the configuration you need — number of ports, frequency range and so on — and you have a vector network analyzer ready to hand on your desk. It is well suited to developing and testing remote control programs, to training people, to getting familiar with the R&S network analyzer interface, and to preparing a measurement setup offline. Load an SnP file and it reproduces a live measurement with no device under test and no instrument present. With the right option it will even run time domain (TDR) analysis on the PC.
