The R&S®TMU9evo is the air-cooled medium-power UHF TV transmitter family from Rohde & Schwarz, covering 400 W to 5.8 kW depending on the number of amplifier modules fitted, which suits medium and low power main stations and energy-efficiency replacement projects. The transmitter is built around the R&S®TCE901 multistandard exciter and supports DVB-T2/DVB-T, ISDB-TB, DTMB and ATSC/ATSC 3.0; because several standards can be installed on one exciter at the same time, an operator can switch between them or run them in parallel. The lower power classes support the R&S®MultiTX arrangement, which houses several transmitters in one rack to save floor space (MultiTX is not offered on the high power configurations).
