The R&S®TLU9 is the low-power UHF digital TV transmitter and gap filler family from Rohde & Schwarz, covering 5 W to 200 W output power for filling in the edges of main-station coverage and for standalone small transmitter sites. The gap filler version includes R&S®smartEC echo cancellation, which stably cancels feedback echo in a single frequency network (SFN) at levels of up to 25 dB — exactly what terrain shadowing and poor indoor coverage call for. Transmitter and gap filler share one software-defined exciter platform and support DVB-T2/DVB-T, ISDB-TB, DTMB and ATSC 1.0/ATSC 3.0. The compact rack design comes with a web GUI and a touch interface for remote operation.
