The R&S®TS7124 RF shielded box delivers high shielding effectiveness (>80 dB) and creates a reliable, repeatable shielded environment for radiated testing across a wide range from 0.3 GHz to 18 GHz. It suits design optimization and production line testing of wireless devices, supporting radiated measurements on standards including 5G FR1, ISM, GSM/CDMA2000®, WCDMA, WLAN, GPS, Bluetooth®, WiMAX™ and Zigbee.

- High shielding effectiveness: better than 80 dB from 0.3 GHz to 18 GHz, giving an isolated test environment free of external RF interference
- Flexible antenna configuration: supports several antenna types (wideband helical, Vivaldi, cross-polarized Vivaldi, narrowband ISM and low-frequency RFID antennas), deployed on a full or half antenna ring
- Soft-close safety mechanism: the door damps automatically when 5 to 10 mm from fully closed, protecting the operator’s fingers and improving safety on the floor
- Durable design: more than one million door opening cycles, suited to high-throughput production lines
- Wide choice of feedthroughs: RF (N-SMA, SMA-SMA), optical fiber (FSMA), USB 2.0, Ethernet, D-Sub, pneumatic and AC power filtered feedthroughs for any connection requirement
- Two models for two development stages: the TS7124M for design and development (rear feedthroughs) and the TS7124AS for production (front and rear feedthroughs)
- Generous internal space: the DUT compartment measures up to 300 mm × 334 mm × 355 mm, taking wireless modules and devices of many sizes
