Product overview
The R&S®ATS1800C is a chamber based on compact antenna test range (CATR) technology, designed for over-the-air (OTA) measurement of 5G NR FR2 mmWave antennas, modules and devices across the full lifecycle from development to 3GPP regulatory conformance testing. Its small 1.3 m² footprint and castor base let it be moved easily and pass through a standard doorway, while it still offers a wide frequency range up to 170 GHz and more than 90 dB of shielding effectiveness. A high-precision bidirectional parabolic CATR reflector, a 3D positioner with hardware triggering and an automatic feed switcher make it one of the most complete 5G mmWave OTA test platforms available; it is fully 3GPP compliant and supports CTIA FR2 antenna performance testing and extension to multiple angles of arrival (RRM) testing.

- Supports multiple angle of arrival (AoA) testing, with left and right side chamber extensions (R&S®ATS1800M) for RRM test requirements
- Optional infrared thermal imaging camera (CATR-CAM1) for remote monitoring of heat dissipation on the device under test
- Integrated USB 3.2 hub and Ethernet switch keep the device under test reliably connected
