Product overview
The R&S®BBA150 is an excellent EMC specialist: a broadband solid-state power amplifier family covering 4 kHz to 6 GHz across five bands (A / AB / BC / D / E) with output power from 15 W to 3000 W. The rugged solid-state design has 100 % mismatch tolerance at VSWR 6:1, so a shorted or open output does not stop it working. The compact modular architecture supports single-band, twin-band and dual-band configurations, so frequency range and power level can be extended as needed and the initial investment keeps its value. AM, FM, PM, pulse and OFDM modulation are all supported, which covers EMC testing, component development and validation, research engineering and industrial environment assessment.
