Overview
The R&S®QPS201 is the flagship static millimeterwave security scanner from Rohde & Schwarz. It uses active 70 – 80 GHz millimeterwave technology with thousands of fully electronic transmit and receive antennas per panel and no moving parts whatsoever. Data acquisition takes about 24 ms per panel, so a high-resolution full-body scan finishes in seconds and reveals concealed metallic, non-metallic, liquid, ceramic and plastic threat items. AI algorithms identify threats automatically. The scanner is certified by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) and the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and is deployed in major airport terminals worldwide, making it the benchmark solution for airport security today.
