Overview
The R&S®ESME is a wideband monitoring receiver that performs high-performance spectrum monitoring from 8 kHz to 40 GHz reliably even in dense signal environments, and supports direction finding and radiolocation. Key specifications include a frequency range of 8 kHz to 40 GHz (base unit to 18 GHz, options above) and an AoA direction finding frequency range of 300 kHz to 8.5 GHz as an option. Features include an optimum balance of linearity and sensitivity that detects weak signals reliably in a dense spectrum, with preselection filtering to suppress out-of-band intermodulation, and signal parameter measurement in line with ITU-R recommendations (R&S®ESME-IM option). As R&S radiomonitoring / signal intelligence reception equipment, the R&S®ESME suits national spectrum regulation, military COMINT/SIGINT and signal interception missions. KanTek can help with a supply assessment, model selection and system integration.
