Overview
The R&S®EB500 is a high-performance wideband digital monitoring receiver used by national spectrum regulators, law enforcement agencies and military monitoring services. The base unit covers 20 MHz – 3.6 GHz and options extend it down to 8 kHz (HF) or up to 6 GHz (SHF); it integrates into fixed and mobile spectrum monitoring systems. Angle of arrival (AoA) and time difference of arrival (TDOA) radiolocation are built in, and together with wideband scanning and precise multimode demodulation this makes it a core receiver for VHF/UHF communications intelligence (COMINT) and frequency compliance monitoring; several units can be managed centrally with R&S®RAMON spectrum monitoring software.
