Product overview
A warning label earns its place not by being posted but by being understood the moment it is seen. In a semiconductor fab, where people come and go and much of the work is contracted out, the person reading a label is rarely the person who designed the scheme — it may be a maintenance technician on nights, a contractor on site for the first time, or whoever reaches the spot first when something goes wrong. An effective warning therefore has to convey three things almost instantly: what the hazard is, what it can do, and what to do about it. Too much text, an unclear pictogram, or a label faded past legibility all defeat the purpose. These labels are produced to order, with the content and styling following your plant's existing safety rules and identification scheme.
Key features
- Text and pictograms customised to your plant's safety rules, not forced into a fixed template
- High-contrast colour options, so the label still reads in low light or at a distance
- Chemical- and moisture-resistant materials available, to reduce fading and lifting edges on site
- Low-outgassing, low-particulate materials available for cleanroom use
- A range of sizes to suit the surface available on a tool, a pipe run or an access-controlled area
Typical applications
- Hazard communication in chemical and specialty gas areas
- Work warnings for high voltage, high temperature or rotating machinery
- Equipment status labels: under maintenance / do not operate
- Restricted-area notices and personal protective equipment requirements
- Temporary warnings for new build and retrofit work
What to send us with an enquiry
Warning labels are made to order, so it helps to send: ① the wording and any pictograms you want to use (and your existing artwork, if you have it); ② where the label goes and how much surface is available; ③ the environment (contact with chemicals, inside a cleanroom or not, indoors or outdoors); ④ whether you need Chinese and English on one label; ⑤ quantity and the date you need it. Regulatory compliance, and the safety judgement behind the wording, remain with your own occupational safety function or the applicable regulations — KanTek produces the content you approve and does not rule on which regulations apply.
